Can a non-resident buy property in USA? This is question that I get from my friends and family that lives overseas. The question comes up a lot because in most countries, foreigners are not allowed to own real estate. People look to real estate in America for a number of reasons. Establish safe haven for their hard earned money, establish residency in the future or because real estate in America has historically proven to be a sound investment.
